Where to Go in 2021

It’s been quite a year and while the pandemic is still visible, many would-be travelers are ready for their next getaway. Whether looking for adventure, romance, wellness, or relaxation, these countries appeal to those looking for a total culturally immersive experience.

Kenya
With strict COVID testing and guidelines in place, Kenya offers wide-open spaces in the bush as well as secluded luxury lodges. New hotels keep popping up offering opportunities to see the Big Five.

Costa Rica
The country has one of the lowest COVID-related fatality rates in Latin America. With plenty of adventurous activities ranging from rafting and zip ling to surfing and horseback riding, the country offers incredible natural beauty with assorted terrains to explore. Of course, it helps that there are plenty of high-end luxury resorts to choose from.

New Zealand
Early on New Zealand contained the virus which makes it another reason it’s bound to be one of the “go-to” destinations for next year. Besides the opportunity to isolate and social distance, the country offers a breathtaking landscape from rolling hills to rugged mountains and brilliant pristine beaches.

Paris
So sad to not be able to eat a macaron from Angelina or take in the city sights from top of the Eiffel Tower. This has always been top of many people’s list whether for a honeymoon, a last minute jaunt, or a vacation. Many new hotels are opening and people are ready to return to the City of Lights.

Mexico
Mexico was one of the first countries that opened to international travelers. With so many different terrains and spots the country offers something for everyone – from sophisticated Mexico City known as a food haven to San Miguel de Allende filled with plenty of art galleries and tropical beach destinations like Riviera Maya, the country is abundant in cultural, educational, wellness, and luxury offerings.

Egypt

Antarctica
Considered a top bucket-list experience by adventure seekers, there are incredible land and sea expedition trips where guests can interact with scientists, biologists, and environmentalists. Be one of the few to explore this extraordinary part of the world!

South Africa
With Kruger National Park and luxury lodges, a safari to many is paradise. There’s also the cosmopolitan city of Johannesburg and of course, the vineyards as well as topnotch restaurants and hotels.

Greece
Both romantic and appealing to those who like ancient civilization and art, there’s plenty of island-hopping to do in which visitors can explore the history of this beautiful country.
